A buzz from Q&A with gransnet.com top feature
Gransnet is a great website. It’s full of information that can be uplifting, and stories that tug at the heartstrings. And, above all, dilemmas that – like life – can be really challenging to think through and resolve.
So it was with some trepidation that I accepted the challenge of trying to resolve one or two. The questions were about finding, and taking on, work. They were located in the Life section, and the questions were sincere, deeply personal, and took a lot of thinking about to come up with the best answer possible.
I really enjoyed it. It was difficult, and I got a similar buzz out of it as I did from writing the book. When people ask me why I write books, I have a simple answer: To find out what I think.” There is no better way to think something through than to write down the arguments, so you really understand them. Quite often, you find what you thought was the solution, isn’t. There are different, or better answers, that you only find by thinking things through on paper (or on a digital device).
And I am therefore proud that, many months later, my Q &A is still one of the top features on the Life section of the Gransnet website.
